Burkcraft Furniture Restoration was founded in 1978; the founder of our company has mastered his craftsmanship by working many years in the field as a journeyman. He has worked as a craftsman for some of Canada’s most famous furniture producers such as Barrymore Furniture Company, Cooper Brothers, Bauhaus, Newport’s Chesterfields and many more. His passion for quality service and expert workmanship has always been his main objective.
Burkcraft over the years has aligned themselves with an interesting group of supporting cast of artists and craftsman and their combined years of experience spans well over 80 years.
Burkcraft has served the Hudson Bay Company, De Boers, Ethan Allen and more. We are proud to announce that we are currently servicing products for some of Canada’s largest leather retailers. We provide technical service such as recliner mechanism repairs and sofa bed mechanism replacement; restore leather sofas, chairs and other upholstered furniture, including antique furniture; re-fill sofa back cushions that appear empty; reduce sofas to accommodate smaller spaces; and much more. We currently provide service to the Greater Toronto area and many other surrounding areas, including in-home service.
